As fall approaches the Lake Chelan Valley comes alive with the activity and excitement of harvest season. The Lake Chelan Harvest Season is a time to celebrate and do we ever! You’ll discover a variety of seasonal events stretching from September through to Thanksgiving. Grape stomps, and u-picks, brewfests, autumn colors, Zombie 5k’s, and so much more. Come join us!
As you likely already know, the Lake Chelan valley produces some of Washington’s most distinctive wines. Harvest season offers the perfect opportunity to experience these wines at their freshest. Robust reds like Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as crisp whites like Riesling and Chardonnay. Each winery showcases the best of its production, giving guests a true taste of the region.
Many wineries host special events such as grape stomping, live music, and harvest dinners. Visitors can also take guided vineyard tours to learn about the winemaking process, from picking the grapes to pressing and fermenting them. The festive atmosphere makes every visit a unique experience.
The region is also well known for it’s fruit, particularly apples. Gala, Honeycrisp, Golden Delicious, Red Delicious, Fuji, and many, many others are harvested here every fall. Many farms celebrate the season with special harvest events like cider pressings, u-picks, hayrides, and more.

Lake Chelan Harvest Festival – September 22 – November 24
Experience Lake Chelan’s annual Wine Harvest via a variety of events and activities presented throughout harvest season. Taste autumn’s fresh picks while enjoying harvest dinner specials, grape stomps, live music, and entertainment. The first day of Fall through Thanksgiving, 2024.
Brews On The Bridge – October 6, 1pm to 5pm
Sample regional beers and ciders and vote for your favorite at this popular, annual event. Games, food, live music, and iconic views of the lake from the Old Bridge in historic Downtown Chelan. Great fun!
Buckner Homestead Harvest Fest – October 4-6
Enjoy live music, apple picking, apple pressing, and picnicking under the freshly picked trees at The Buckner Homestead, near Stehekin.
Nefarious Fall Market – October 5, 11am to 3pm
Enjoy a stroll around Nefarious Cellars’ farm with a glass of wine, delicious food, stunning views, and a carefully curated selection of local vendors. A fun, early holiday shopping opportunity! 495 S. Lakeshore Road, Chelan WA
Haunted Manson – October
Come enjoy all the Halloween and Harvest fun all month long in Manson! Events include a Zombie 5K fun run/walk, Escape Room, Find Jack, Scarecrow Contest, pumpkin patch, hay rides, and much more. Throughout the month of October, in Manson, WA.
