Lake Chelan is a pristine 55-mile-long lake in North Central Washington. At an elevation of nearly 1,500 feet, the lake dives to an incredible 400 feet below sea level. In addition to being the largest natural lake in Washington, it is the third deepest lake in the United States and the deepest gorge in North America.

Lake Chelan, Washington has become a premier travel destination for folks from around our state, the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Area Visitor’s Guide

The Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center is a wonderful traveler’s resource.

Local golf options include Lake Chelan Municipal, Bear Mountain Ranch, and the nationally recognized Desert Canyon.

Dining options range from family owned drive-ins to seasonal farmer’s market fare, pub to pizza and family casual to upscale gourmet.

Vineyards & Wineries

The past decade has seen the emergence of a vibrant winery scene in Chelan. To date, 18 wineries have opened, complimenting the Lake Chelan Valley’s rich agricultural history. Here’s a great post about a few of our favorites that our closest to Kelly’s:

For an unforgettable all-day excursion, take the Lady of the Lake ferry to the outpost of Stehekin, located at the glacier fed head of Lake Chelan and accessible only by boat or seaplane.
