What are People Saying about Lake Chelan?

We have an inland fjord in Washington: Lake Chelan. The ancient glacial valley filled with water 1486 feet deep (the bottom being below sea level) courses down from the snow-capped North Cascades to almost the Columbia River. The giant serpentine lake offers all the best: Extrodinary mountain views, evergreen forest, blue water, and even desert on the east end. Boat, fish, hike, bike, hunt, and whatever other kind of recreation suits you.

Lake is so clean and beautiful, goes on for miles and is surrounded by gorgeous vineyards and orchards.

I’ve been coming up to Lake Chelan for well over 20 years and it’s always been wonderful. Brought may kids when they were young and now I’m bringing the grandkids! Everyone loves it! The lake is huge and remarkably clean. Super deep (almost 1,500’) so it’s pretty cold water. Where there used to be only apple orchards there is It now a thriving winery industry. That’s brought more restaurants and entertainment options. Spring, summer and fall are great! I come up here from Olympia WA each season!
